Sebanyak 75 ribu pengunjuk rasa menggelar aksi demonstrasi buruh di sepanjang jalan-jalan utama di Paris akibat rencana perubahan Undang-Undang Ketenagakerjaan. Para buruh menentang keras adanya reformasi buruh yang memudahkan pengusaha untuk merekrut sekaligus memecat pekerja. Aksi protes kemudian menimbulkan kekacauan dan mengakibatkan 24 polisi dan 17 demonstran terluka pada Selasa sore, 14 Juni 2016 waktu setempat.
