Penghargaan diserahkan Wakil Presiden RI Jusuf Kalla, pada saat\u00a0 Rapat Koordinasi Nasional Penanggulangan Bencana 2015, di Hotel Bidakara Jakarta, Selasa (10\/3).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Penghargaan Adi Tangguh adalah penghargaan yang diberikan atas pengabdian dan kepimpinannya dalam penanggulangan bencana di daerahnya. Penghargaan diberikan langsung oleh Wapres kepada Gubernur Jawa Tengah Ganjar Pranowo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Dalam tanggapannya Ganjar mengatakan akan terus berupaya meningkatkan kesiapsiagaan dalam penanggulangan bencana secara terencana, terpadu, terkoordinasi, dan menyeluruh mulai tahap prabencana, tanggap darurat, dan pascabencana di provinsi ini. Dengan menggunakan sistem teknologi, seperti penerapan <em>early warning system<\/em> (EWS) yang dapat mendeteksi bencana sejak dini di wilayah paling rawan bencana melalui kerja sama dengan Universitas Gadjah Mada, melibatkan mahasiswa kuliah kerja nyata (KKN) dalam penanganan bencana, serta penggunaan <em>grup whats app<\/em> dengan anggota seluruh kabupaten\/kota sebagai sarana menyampaikan informasi yang ada di Jawa Tengah.
