Adapun pihak MNCN mengatakan, usaha patungan tersebut sehubungan dengan rencana pendirian perusahaan patungan (joint venture company) yang akan bergerak di bidang usaha periklanan (advertising), aturan tersebut disampaikan untuk memenuhi ketentuan Peraturan X.K.1.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Saat ini MNCN memiliki bisnis inti di content dan kepemilikan serta pengoperasian tiga dari 10 TV free to air nasional di Indonesia yakni RCTI, MNCTV, dan GlobalTV, serta 18 channel yang diproduksi oleh MNC yang disiarkan di TV berlangganan. Selain itu, \u00a0MNCN juga memiliki basis media dan usaha lainnya yang bertujuan untuk mendukung bisnis inti MNCN.
