Menurutnya, kinerja positif ini diyakini mampu mengakselerasi upaya pemulihan ekonomi nasional di tengah tekanan dampak pandemi Covid-19.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDalam tantangan pandemi saat ini, kami bertekad melakukan pengembangan industri kecil menengah (IKM) karena sebagai sektor mayoritas dari populasi unit usaha di tanah air, di antaranya adalah sektor IKM perhiasan,\u201d jelas Gati dalam keterangannya, pada Kamis, 19 November 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Sepanjang Januari-September 2020, nilai ekspor dari industri perhiasan mencapai USD1,1 juta. Adapun lima negara tujuan utama ekspor perhiasan nasional, yaitu Singapura dengan porsi nilai 33%, kemudian Hongkong (24%), Amerika Serikat (19%), Swiss (11%), dan Uni Emirat Arab (9%). Dari capaian tersebut, Indonesia menduduki peringkat ke-14 dengan nilai market share ekspor sebesar 1,56%.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSementara itu, khusus untuk ekspor ke Amerika dari bulan Januari sampai September tahun 2020 jika dibandingkan dengan periode yang sama di tahun 2019, nilai ekspornya mengalami kenaikan sebanyak 37%. Indonesia menjadi negara pertama yang mengalami kenaikan terbesar untuk ekspor perhiasan emas ke Amerika,\u201d terang Gati.<\/p>\n<p>Akibat imbas pandemi, lanjutnya, omzet dan utilisasi sektor industri perhiasan sempat mengalami penurunan, namun tidak ada yang sampai melakukan pemutusan hubungan kerja (PHK). <\/p>\n<p>\u201cJadi, angin segar kembali bertiup, dengan adanya peningkatan ekspor perhiasan ke Amerika,\u201d katanya.<\/p>\n<p>Gati menegaskan peluang ini menjadi semangat bagi IKM perhiasan untuk bangkit kembali. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cTantangan yang saat ini dihadapi industri emas dan perhiasan adalah jumlah dan kompetensi SDM di bidang emas dan perhiasan,\u201d ucapnya.<\/p>\n<p>Oleh karena itu, pihaknya terus mengembangkan skill SDM di sektor IKM perhiasan melalui fasilitasi bimbingan teknis, penyediaan Standar Kompetensi Kerja Nasional Indonesia (SKKNI) di bidang perhiasan logam mulia. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cSKKNI diperlukan sebagai salah satu upaya untuk membangun SDM dari sisi tenaga kerja industri,\u201d ujarnya.<\/p>\n<p>Perlu diketahui, dalam peningkatan daya saing IKM perhiasan nasional, pemerintah juga melakukan upaya penerapan standar barang emas.
