Untuk itu, pihaknya mendorong pelaku industri kecil menengah (IKM) untuk bisa mencari peluang usaha dikarenakan adanya adaptasi kebiasaan baru akibat pendemi, telah menggeser pola belanja dari offline menjadi online. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cSocial distancing menyebabkan konsumen menjadi lebih banyak waktu di rumah, sehingga lebih banyak waktu merawat kulit, badan, dan rambut akibatnya belanja permintaan untuk perawatan di rumah semakin meningkat menggantikan kebutuhan salon dan spa,\u201d kata Direktur Jenderal Industri Kecil, Menengah dan Aneka (IKMA) Kementerian Perindustrian Gati Wibawaningsih pada pembukaan Virtual Expo IKM Kosmetik 2020, Selasa, 24 November 2020.<\/p>\n<p>Menurut Gati, guna memenuhi permintaan konsumen yang melonjak tersebut, pihaknya mendorong agar pelaku IKM kosmetikterus meningkatkan produktivitasnya karena akan membawa dampak positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cUntuk itu, kami juga meminta kepada mereka bisa berinovasi dalam menciptakan produk dan menjalankan bisnisnya,\u201d jelas Gati.<\/p>\n<p>Gati menjelaskan penyelenggaraan kegiatan Virtual Expo IKM Kosmetik 2020 yang diikuti oleh 35 pelaku usaha yang tersebar di seluruh wilayah Indonesia, diyakini dapat menjadi wadah bagi para IKM kosmetik, spa, dan produk spa untuk memperluas akses pasarnya.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIKM ini kami ajak untuk ikut dalam virtual expo, selain sebagai sarana pemasaran produk, juga untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan nilai tambah produk kosmetik dalam negeri. Selain itu, meningkatkan kapasitas bisnis dan meningkatkan awarenessIKM terhadap produk kosmetik lokal yang aman dan terjangkau,\u201d terangnya.<\/p>\n<p>Perlu di ketahui, berdasarkan data Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS), pada triwulan I tahun 2020, kinerja industri kimia, farmasi dan obat tradisional (termasuk sektor kosmetik) mengalami pertumbuhan yang gemilang sebesar 5,59%.
