Untuk itu, pemerintah berupaya mencegah terjadinya kecurangan dalam penyaluran bantuan tersebut hingga diterima oleh yang benar-benar membutuhkannya.<\/p>\n<p>Kementerian Sosial telah berkoordinasi dengan Bank Indonesia, Otoritas Jasa Keuangan dan lembaga fintech (financial technology), untuk menyiapkan aplikasi yang meningkatkan layanan kepada penerima manfaat. Aplikasi ini, bertujuan agar bansos yang disalurkan dapat dipantau prosesnya dan penerima manfaat menggunakan bantuannya sesuai kebutuhan.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Sekaligus sebagai alat kontrol efektif kepada penerima manfaat sekaligus alat kontrol efektif dalam penggunaan bantuan sosial,&#8221; jelas Prof Wiku dalam Keterangan Pers Perkembangan Penanganan Covid-19, di Graha BNPB secara virtual, pada Kamis, 29 Juli 2021.  <\/p>\n<p>Pemerintah juga melakukan 3 langkah strategis yang mendukung agar bansos diterima tepat sasaran. Pertama, melakukan sinkronisasi dan pemadanan data dengan Nomor Induk Kependudukan (NIK) di Kementerian Dalam Negeri. Kedua, memperbaiki mekanisme penyaluran bantuan sosial.
