{"id":295963,"date":"2021-11-25T17:00:54","date_gmt":"2021-11-25T10:00:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vibizmedia.com\/?p=295963"},"modified":"2021-11-28T17:04:09","modified_gmt":"2021-11-28T10:04:09","slug":"national-working-group-on-benchmark-reform-nwgbr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vibizmedia.com\/index.php\/2021\/11\/25\/national-working-group-on-benchmark-reform-nwgbr\/","title":{"rendered":"National Working Group on Benchmark Reform (NWGBR)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(Vibizmedia &#8211; Nasional) Bank Indonesia (BI), Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK), Kementerian Keuangan (Kemenkeu), Lembaga Penjamin Simpanan (LPS) dan <em>Indonesia Foreign Exchange Market Committee<\/em> (IFEMC) pada hari Selasa (23\/11) secara resmi membentuk <em>National Working Group on Benchmark Reform<\/em> (NWGBR) untuk menyikapi rencana penghentian penggunaan <em>London Interbank Offered Rate<\/em> (LIBOR) dan melakukan upaya penguatan kredibilitas <em>benchmark rate <\/em>di pasar keuangan domestik.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">LIBOR merupakan <em>benchmark rate<\/em> yang umum digunakan di pasar keuangan global, sehingga proses transisi terkait rencana penghentian penggunaan LIBOR bagi kontrak keuangan sejak awal tahun 2022 perlu dipersiapkan dengan baik oleh seluruh pihak terkait. Di samping itu, sejalan dengan agenda <em>global benchmark reform, <\/em>upaya penguatan <em>benchmark rate<\/em> di pasar keuangan domestik perlu dilakukan.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">NWGBR memiliki tiga fungsi utama, yaitu memberikan informasi dan edukasi kepada pelaku pasar dalam mendukung proses kelancaran transisi LIBOR, memberikan informasi bagi pelaku pasar mengenai agenda <em>benchmark reform<\/em> di pasar keuangan domestik, dan memberikan rekomendasi alternatif <em>benchmark rate<\/em> (<em>Alternative Reference Rate<\/em>\/ ARR) di pasar keuangan domestik. Dalam melaksanakan fungsinya, NWGBR terdiri dari 5 (lima) <em>sub-group<\/em>, yaitu <em>IBOR Discontinuance, Alternative Reference Rate, Accounting and Tax, Regulation and Preparation,<\/em> dan<em> Communication and Public Education<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sinergi antara otoritas keuangan dengan asosiasi pelaku pasar melalui pembentukan NWGBR diharapkan akan menghasilkan rekomendasi yang tepat dan komprehensif bagi pelaku pasar dalam menyikapi transisi LIBOR sehingga dapat mendukung stabilitas sistem keuangan.
