Di area ini terdapat pusat perbelanjaan, aneka makanan dan hiburan, sampai para seniman jalanan atau bisa dibilang juga pengamen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Covent Garden juga merupakan pintu masuk menuju <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blj.co.id\/2014\/05\/25\/vivid-sydney-the-opera-house-berkilauan-di-bawah-lampu-terang-dari-festival-tahunan\/\" class=\"broken_link\">Royal Opera House<\/a>. Area seluas 16 hektar itu awalnya kebun milik gereja St Peter di Westminster.<\/p>\n<p>Kata &#8216;covent&#8217; awalnya diambil dari istilah &#8216;convent&#8217; yang artinya biara alias tempat suci.
