Direktorat Hak Kekayaan Intelektual Kementerian Hukum dan HAM menilai jika tingkat pertumbuhan tersebut masih cenderung minim di tengah serbuan merek asing yang masuk ke Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Direktur Kerjasama dan Promosi Dirjen HKI Kemenkumham, Parlagutan Lubis mengatakan jika pihaknya akan terus berupaya agar tingkat pertumbuhan tersebut bisa meningkat signifikan tiap tahunnya. Pendaftaran merek oleh UKM ini sangat penting untuk melindungi produk UKM, terutama dalam menghadapi Masyarakat Ekonomi ASEAN (MEA).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pargalutan Lubis mengungkapkan jika tingkat pertumbuhan itu sebenarnya masih bisa ditingkatkan lagi jika ada kesadaran dari pemilik merek untuk mendaftarkan produknya. Untuk itu pihaknya akan terus berupaya dan menyosialisasikan pentingnya pendaftaran merek bagi pengusaha.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Selanjutnya Lubis menambahkan bahwa pihaknya tiap hari menerima pengajuan pendaftaran merek sebanyak 500-600 berkas dan pengajuan tersebut berasal dari produk dalam negeri dan asing.
