{"id":383795,"date":"2024-01-12T14:01:58","date_gmt":"2024-01-12T07:01:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vibizmedia.com\/?p=383795"},"modified":"2024-01-12T14:02:00","modified_gmt":"2024-01-12T07:02:00","slug":"potensi-biomassa-kelapa-sawit-hasilkan-carbon-black","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vibizmedia.com\/index.php\/2024\/01\/12\/potensi-biomassa-kelapa-sawit-hasilkan-carbon-black\/","title":{"rendered":"Potensi Biomassa Kelapa Sawit Hasilkan Carbon Black"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">(Vibizmedia &#8211; Jakarta) Dikarenakan melimpahnya potensi biomassa dari kelapa sawit, periset Pusat Riset Konversi dan Konservasi Energi Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN) Agus Kismanto mengembangkan\u00a0green\u00a0carbon black\u00a0sebagai bahan baku\u00a0carbon black.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Carbon black\u00a0ini dimanfaatkan sebagai pewarna dan penguat pada ban mobil dan belt, hoses, dan barang-barang bukan ban yang mengandung karet.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Hal merupakan pembahasan pada Monitoring dan Evaluasi Grant Riset Sawit sebagai Program Dukungan Dana Penelitian dan Pengembangan Badan Pengelola Dana Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit (BPDPKS), di Kawasan Sains dan Teknologi Samaun Samadikun BRIN Bandung, Rabu-Kamis (10-11\/1).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Agus menyampaikan, latar belakang penelitian ini adalah karena perkebunan sawit merupakan sumber biomassa yang luar biasa. Pelepah, tandan kosong, dan batang-batang sawit sisa replanting belum termanfaatkan dengan baik.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dalam keterangannya yang dari laman BRIN di Jakarta, Jumat (12\/1\/2024), Agus menjelaskan, tandan kosong bisa berjumlah 59 juta ton per tahun.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Jika diolah menjadi carbon black dapat menghasilkan sekitar 3 juta ton carbon black. Riset teknologi produksi carbon black dari biomassa kelapa sawit merupakan hal yang sangat menjanjikan untuk meningkatkan ekspor Indonesia.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lebih lanjut Agus menyampaikan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan teknologi produksi carbon black dari biomassa. Didahului dengan proses pirolisis biomassa, sehingga keekonomian proses produksi ini dapat tercapai.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Agus menjelaskan, carbon black dari biomassa merupakan pasar baru dari pemanfaatan kelapa sawit, mengingat selama ini hanya dari bahan bakar fosil. Tren ini akan cerah karena mendukung net zero emission yang merupakan prioritas saat ini.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dirinya menerangkan, teknik produksi yang diusulkan adalah dengan melakukan proses gasifikasi tandan kosong pada temperatur yang rendah, sehingga terbentuk syngas dan pyrolysis oil atau tar. Syngas kemudian dijadikan bahan bakar di proses produksi, sedangkan pyrolysis oil dijadikan bahan baku.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Agus juga menambahkan, produksi carbon black dari minyak pirolisa ini sangat bagus mengingat mutu sifat fisika minyak pirolisis yang sudah mendekati minyak berat.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Pada riset tahun pertama telah menghasilkan kualitas carbon black yang dapat dipakai sebagai bahan baku sebagian pabrik ban (N770).
