Tujuannya adalah untuk meningkatkan pasokan valas ke dalam negeri sehingga bisa memperkuat mata uang rupiah.\u00a0Menurut OJK,\u00a0selama ini hanya bank-bank dengan kapasitas tertentu dan memenuhi persyaratan ketat yang diizinkan melayani penitipan valas.
