Hutan hujan Amazon, berbatasan dengan tanah deforestasi yang disiapkan untuk menanam kedelai, terlihat dalam foto udara yang diambil dari negara bagian Mato Grosso di bagian barat Brasil, Minggu (4/10). Brasil akan memproduksi 97,8 juta ton kedelai pada 2015/16 yang merupakan rekor, meningkat 3,2 persen dibanding produksi 2014/15, tetapi jumlah tambahan tersebut akan disimpan di Brasil, dengan sedikit dampak pada jumlah ekspor, diperkirakan oleh Asosiasi Industri Minyak Sayur Brasil (ABIOVE) kemarin.
